Jiangsu Hualun Chemical Industry Co., Ltd, is the stocks-controlled enterprise run by the local people. Its predecessor is Yangzhou Hualun Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. It has been over ten years since Hualun devoted to the production and development of solvent products. It was established in 1992, mainly engaged in the process of C10 heavy aromatics, high boiling aromatic solvents, separate and refine high purity durene from C10 heavy aromatics. In August 1996, we constructed the manufacturing installation of propylene glycol ethers series, which can produce 3000tons per year. In 1999, we proceeded the production of durene by using isomeric change tetra methyl benzene. And accomplished the technical transformation of 300tons per year. Then introduced a set of unit installation, which can produce 30 thousand metric tons of high boiling aromatic solvent per year and accomplish the isomeric change of tetra methyl benzene to produce durene. Then introduced a set of installation, which can produce 15 thousand tons ethylene glycol ethers and CAC in 2002. In 2003, we introduced a set of unit installation, which can produce 40 thousand tons high boiling aromatic solvent per year and accomplished the isomeric change of tetra methyl benzene to produce durene. We proceeded the technical transformation of propylene glycol methyl ether& acetate. The quality of propylene glycol ethers has reached the international standard of the same species.

Our products have formed three series and eighteen varieties that contain propylene glycol ethers, ethylene glycol ethers, high boiling aromatic solvents and durene nowadays. They can be extensively used in coating for automobile, vessels' containers, furniture architecture, and coatings for steel and canned food. It also can be used in printing ink, pesticides, hydrogen peroxide, PS, dying etc. propylene glycol ethers has got the "excellent project award of Eight Fifth national technical innovation" and the award for advance of science and technology promulgated by the SINOPEC. Our company is a high and new-technology corporation in Jiangsu Province, which is successively announced as the "Advanced Chemical Enterprise", "Advanced Corporation of environmental protection in Jiangsu", "Jiangsu Cleansing civilization Factory", and "Jiangsu Safety in Production Advanced Corporation" by the Chemical Industry Department and the Agriculture Department, we passed the ISO9001 in 1998: the Quality Management System Certification of 1994 Edition, and passed the ISO9001 in 2001: the changed edition of the 2000. And we passed the ISO14001 Environment Management System Certification in 2003.
